What do you think would happen if it WERE ever found that there was a “Gay Gene”? I think with medical science today there would be a lot of genetic alteration of genes by parents who didn’t want a gay baby. But this is a cute video about why you shouldn’t sterotype gay, or any, individule. Just because a person turns out a certain way doesn’t mean they can’t be what you want them to be either.
This is such an impactful video about being gay, coming out, and the reactions of parents and society. Young love is such a beautiful thing whether it’s a boy and a girl, a boy and and a boy, or a girl and a girl. We are going to love who our heart tells us to love, be it a short or long term affair. Nobody chooses to be gay. It’s hard enough trying worm your way through life as a kid without trying to hide who you really are, or who you really love. My heart goes out to all the struggling kids out there that have parents wont tolerate their sexuality. All I can say is “Hang in there.” Youth is such a small part of life. You will get through it. It will get better.

Turn the tables on society and imagine if being gay was the norm, and being straight was the one that got you bullied. What is normal? Why can’t we love each other how we want? Being gay isn’t something that can be fixed, or a phase that the body will get though. In 2022 we are getting better at being able to live with people who are different from ourselves. But we have a long way to go before total acceptance.
