As a person who was born in 1994, I think one of the biggest television tragidies we suffered was being born late enough that we didn’t get to enjoy MTV when it played music videos.

I’m guessing that this video would have been one of the first to be shown on the channel since it doesn’t look like like it took to much to create.

I would love it if there was a channel, website, or app that MTV did for music in the 80s. I like Pandora to find new music, but you have to start with a few artists that you already know.

It’s the same for YouTube. Once you start playing a video you know, then it will start giving you suggestions. But the into has to be good enough that you want to click the play button.

Thankfully I know my dad’s YouTube channel address and have copied a lot of what he likes into my own playlists. But I still wish I could hit play and be introduced to new music to me, which may be old to others.

My brother is going to have the largest YouTube music collection of the three of us since I know he had both of our addresses.
